The 2nd Annual
CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA
CONCOURS ON THE AVENUE
In the Heart of Carmel Village
Monday & Tuesday, August 11-12, 2008

Edgar Motorsport's William and Sharon Edgar this year proudly teamed with the Carmel Concours and Ocean Avenue Motor Club founders Doug and Genie Freedman to create photographic and journalistic coverage of the Monterey Peninsula's freshest "Car Week"event ... expanded from last year's successful single-day inaugural to 2008's two full days of judged Concours, free to spectators, in the very center of California's resort town of Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Monday's marques were exclusively Ferrari and Porsche automobiles produced through 1973.  Tuesday's Multi Marques took in the wide range of hot rods, to road cars, to racing classics and motorcycles built from 1940 through 1973.

Class-winning examples were elegantly ramp-displayed for trophy presentations, and local Carmel merchants competed with decorations for Concours In The Windows awards, with cash prizes going to the Carmel Foundation charity to assist local seniors.
